December in Paradise: 4 Holiday Activities to Support Local Business

Explore the many ways to support Paradise businesses this holiday season- dine locally, shop diverse stores, and attend shows. Grab a friend, pick an activity, and enjoy!

1. Shop ‘til you drop

Paradise offers a variety of stores in town. From furniture stores to antique shops to art galleries, there’s something for everyone. Extend the holiday spirit by visiting the Paradise Animal Shelter’s to see the wish lists of the animals who will not be with loved ones this holiday season. For all other shopping needs, the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce’s website has a full list of retail shops to fulfill your holiday shopping.

2. Explore the night life

Evenings in Paradise just got better with performances at the Paradise Performing Arts Center or Theatre on the Ridge to celebrate the holidays. Before the shows, grab a pre-dinner cocktail or mocktail, then order a cozy meal from your favorite restaurant or food truck.

3. Treat yourself or someone else

As the year comes to an end, treat yourself to the gift of rest and relaxation. With many self-care options, such as massages, facials, manicures, haircuts, and more, it is the perfect way to rejuvenate after the holidays! Check out the Paradise Chamber’s website for a full list of personal and self-care services.

4. Cool down in the winter mountain air!

Boost your mood and relieve the holiday stress by going outdoors. Visit the Paradise Ice Rink to ice skate under the pines, or drive around town to see the Christmas lights hung by residents. The last ToP POP event is Saturday, December 30th for a half-priced skating session all day and from 6:00-midnight is the New Year-ish ball drop, and other fun family activities.

Thank you for supporting local businesses this holiday season- your contributions strengthen the community!
