Fall Gardening and Wildfire Preparedness

Fall is the perfect time to prepare your garden for the upcoming cooler months. Consider planting native California plants that are both drought-tolerant and fire-resistant, to help preserve the natural beauty of Paradise while also contributing to wildfire resilience.

Additionally, with the fire season extending later into the year, it’s important to continue maintaining defensible space around your property. Clear fallen leaves and debris, trim back overgrown plants, and ensure you have an evacuation plan in place just in case. Paradise is stronger and safer together when we all do our part.

Supporting Local Businesses

As the holiday season approaches, remember to shop local! Paradise has many small businesses that offer unique gifts, handmade crafts, and delicious food. Supporting our local shops not only strengthens the community but also helps Paradise continue to grow and thrive.

Whether you’re grabbing a cozy cup of coffee from a local café or picking up fall décor from a nearby boutique, every purchase makes a difference.

Fall in Paradise is not just a season, it’s an experience—a time to celebrate our community, reflect on our resilience, and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us. Whether you’re participating in local events, shopping small, or simply enjoying the vibrant fall colors, this season is a perfect opportunity to reconnect with the Paradise we all love.
