Emergency Resources from the Town of Paradise

Ensuring the safety of its residents is a top priority for the Town. In recent years, the Town has partnered with various agencies to develop and provide preparedness tools for potential emergencies.

Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with these invaluable resources:

Early Warning System

The Early Warning Sirens (EWS) comprises 21 siren towers throughout the town limits of Paradise that will be activated during evacuation emergencies. These siren towers are intended to be part of the larger voluntary notification system, creating an audible/alarm notification system for residents and visitors in the Town of Paradise. Continuous testing aims to enhance the system’s effectiveness and ensure its proper configuration. Learn more about the EWS here.

Evacuation Zone Map

The Town of Paradise is split into 14 different Evacuation Zones. The Sheriff’s Department will order evacuations by Evacuation Zone, in the event of a wildfire, flood, or other emergencies. It is important to learn which Evacuation Zone you live in.

Evacuation Zone Signs

These signs aim to help people understand which Evacuation Zone a resident or visitor is in at any given moment. Knowing as many Zones as possible will help residents and visitors better understand if a school or workplace is being evacuated. Learn more about the Evacuation Zone Signs here

CodeRED is a community notification system that sends a text or calls to your phone in the event of emergencies or critical community alerts. Sign up, manage your account or unsubscribe to  CodRED here
