Just Keep Swimming: July ToP POP Recap

What better way to beat the July heat than a day at the pool? Paradise residents did just that during July’s ToP POP event: a “Free Community Swim Day” at the PRPD Aquatic Park swimming pool. Over 90 community members splashed the afternoon away at the pop-up!

ToP POP events are part of a free 12-month community engagement series put on by the Town of Paradise. You can see recaps from past events on the Town’s blog.

Swimming was just part of the fun. Attendees also had the opportunity to purchase lunch and snacks from local food trucks like Meehos, Green Paradise Cafe, and Kona Ice. No one left hungry, that’s for sure!

The Town was happy to provide a fun, family-friendly event for residents. And according to one of the Aquatic Park lifeguards, pool staff members were excited too. They said, “It was a great event! We saw a lot of new faces participate. It was great to see community members, including those who don’t usually visit the pool, enjoy the day.”

The Town only has a few more ToP POP events left, so you don’t want to miss out. Last weekend we had a great rock painting August ToP POP. Keep an eye out for details on the next ToP POP events!
