Come Visit Paradise’s New Downtown Area
Downtown Paradise has experienced a noticeable transformation due to the revitalization of the downtown area.
Officially known as the “Almond Street / Gap Closure Projects,” this project was intended to fill the “gaps” in the downtown area of Paradise’s infrastructure. Construction began in 2021, with the goal of creating a vibrant space for people to gather, businesses to thrive, and the community to connect. It’s the largest infrastructure project completed by Paradise in years and is already paving the way for economic development.
What’s new downtown?
In the past few years, the Town and builders have been hard at work to complete the downtown area. Using a pre-fire grant of $7 million, the Town has used this money to update:
- Roadways
- Sidewalks
- Curbs and gutters
- Bike paths
- Lighting
- Landscaping
Now, you can stroll along sidewalks with friends and family. Enjoy the bike paths that provide a safe passage. The new lighting makes walking around at night much easier. And contemporary landscaping makes Paradise feel just like home.
