Town of Paradise COVID-19 Response

As the Town of Paradise continues to recover from the Camp Fire, it is important to remain focused on our important recovery work while taking necessary precautions to protect our community from COVID-19.  The Town of Paradise is instituting new procedures to protect the health of our staff and the public. Our ultimate goal remains supporting our residents as they recover. These changes will not impede or slow our recovery but will make us all safer during these uncertain times.

Building Resiliency Center

The Building Resiliency Center will remain open to the public for building services; however, the Town will institute the following procedures to encourage social distancing:

  • For building questions, instead of visiting in person, call us at (530) 872-6291 x411 or email us at rebuildquestions@townofparadise.com.

  • For permitting, plan submittals or permit pickup, please call ahead and make an appointment at (530) 872-6291 x411.

  • Rebuild Advocates will be available by phone only at (530) 872-6291 x411

March 17 Planning Commission Meeting

  • The Fallon Site Plan Review Permit (Cat Kennel Facility) Application Hearing will be postponed to next month’s Planning Commission Meeting on April 21st.

  • The meeting will be livestreamed at https://livestream.com/townofparadise

  • Seating in Council Chambers will be limited – chairs are set at 6-foot intervals.

  • The public will be encouraged to call or email their questions and comments ahead of the meeting, rather than attend in person.

  • Email shartman@townofparadise.com and dvolenski@townofparadise.com or call (530) 872-6291 x102 for questions or comments prior to the meeting.

  • The public can call in comments during the meeting at (530) 872-6146.

  • Groups are encouraged to send a representative to speak for the group, or email/call with comments.

  • Attendees may be asked to wait outside if seating is not available
