NEW! COMMERCIAL SIGN REMOVAL PROGRAM
The Town of Paradise Commercial Sign Removal Program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. Grants will be awarded on a first come first serve basis, until all allocated funds have been expended. A total of $100,000 has been allocated for this program. After an application is approved, the Town will work with the business and contractor to have the sign removed and will pay the contractor directly for the service. For more information and an application, visit bit.ly/3IW9aee.
Roe Rd. Extension Phase 1 Project
The Town of Paradise will receive $1.8 Million towards the Roe Rd. Extension Phase 1 project after it was included in the recent federal omnibus appropriations bill, H.R. 2617, signed into law on December 29th. The funding, which will come through the U.S. Department of Transportation, was included in the final spending package at the request of Congressman Doug LaMalfa, with support from Senator Dianne Feinstein and Senator Alex Padilla. The Roe Rd. Extension Phase 1 Project is essential to the Town’s rebuild efforts after the devastating 2018 Camp Fire and will help ensure the community has adequate evacuation routes in the case of future emergencies.
