    • Standing Homes: 97% tested meet state drinking water standards (15% of the standing homes tested show some detection of a fire-related VOC)

    • Burnt Lots: 51% tested have detections of fire-related VOC’s

    • Water Mains: 98% of the water mains meet state drinking water standards.

  • Paradise on Ice: The ice rink is now open weather permitting! The Paradise Ice Rink is an outdoor seasonal ice rink that will be open daily (weather permitting). Public Skate, Adult Skate, Lessons, Private Rentals, and Party rooms are all offered.

    • Regular Hours:

    • Sunday- Thursday: 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

    • Friday  – 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with teen skate night at 9:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. (additional charge)

    • Saturday – 12:00 -10:00 p.m. with skate lessons from 11:00 am to 12:00 p.m. (additional charge)

  • Town of Paradise Council Member Mike Zuccolillo and Charles Brooks, Executive Director of the Rebuild Paradise Foundation recently joined a delegation from other Northern California fire-affected communities on a trip to Washington D.C. to advocate for the needs of our community. The delegation was coordinated by the Rebuild Northbay Foundation and highlighted the needs of Northern California cities and counties impacted by the devastating fires of 2017 & 2018. Both Paradise delegates met with federal officials and lawmakers to discuss the top priorities of Paradise. These include:

    • Advocating for the highest funding of current grant requests

    • Advocating for infrastructure

    • Advocating for reducing local match on Federal funding

    • The need for tree removal funding to include trees that could impact private

    • Roads and “orphan” roads

    • Sharing the voice of our rural community

  • The Camp Fire One Year was a day filled with many emotions coupled with a positive look into the future as the Town moves from recovery to rebuilding. The day and weekend’s events were heartfelt and exhibited a truly tight-knit and resilient community bond that has continued to build throughout the past year. An uplifting evening ceremony to honor the heart and soul of Paradise was enjoyed by over 1500 Ridge Residents. In the chance you missed the events, the evening ceremony can be viewed here:

  • On November 8th, The BRC “Building Resiliency Center” sneak peek to the building was enjoyed by the community. The BRC will be an exciting resource that will allow the community to visit and get assistance with rebuilding needs. A BIG Thank You to Bank of America for donating the building. North Valley Community Foundation, Ray Morgan Company, AT&T and USDA also stepped up to donate money to build out The BRC’s services in an effort to support the residents of The Ridge. The BRC official Grand Opening date will be announced in the coming weeks.

  • The Town of Paradise officially broke ground on Hope Plaza on November 8th. For more information on what is to come in 2020 check out https://www.hopeplazaparadise.com
