Paradise Irrigation District Update

As we near the anniversary of the Camp Fire, Paradise Irrigation District is pleased to share some of the milestones made over the last three years. A community needs clean, great water to thrive, and that’s precisely what the Paradise Irrigation District is providing as the Ridge community recovers from the effects of the devastating Camp Fire. Our community’s water system faced numerous challenges as a result of the fire, including the destruction of the district’s previous water metering system, water quality issues within service laterals to properties, and a drastic decrease in the number of active customers. Despite these difficulties, the district is moving forward and still providing clean, safe water to our community.

Current status:

  • Active customers: 3,886

  • Properties with cleared water: 3,408

  • Metered billing resumes in January of 2022.
