Bille Park Temporarily Closing for Tree Removal

There will be a temporary closure of Bille Park to remove trees and cleanup, depending on weather. These operations critically support the rebuild and recovery following the 2018 Camp Fire. Paradise Recreation and Park District has been actively preparing for this tree work and you can learn more on their website www.paradiseprpd.com. For more information on the tree removal program, visit https://buttecountyrecovers.org/agencies/tree-removal/.

Trauma-Informed Fire Education and Journaling Workshop

In partnership, Paradise Recreation and Park District (PRPD) and the Butte County Fire Safe Council are presenting an interactive workshop on Trauma-Informed Fire Education and Journaling. This will be available on March 23-25, 2021, and registration is available on PRPD’s and Butte County Fire Safe Council Facebook pages. This workshop will integrate trauma-informed perspectives into field and nature journaling practices that will be used to build awareness and understanding of fire on the landscape.

Home Builders Resource Virtual Connection

An opportunity to connect rebuilders with the trades and resources needed to build in the Paradise community is once again taking place, with a virtual change. Companies will become accessible through a 2-minute video shared with community members who attend. This is a great way to learn about your local resources.

Visit rebuildcampfire.com/hbrc to view the growing video gallery!

If you are interested in having your company represented in the video gallery, please contact Valley Contractors Exchange at info@vceonline.com
