April 2022: Where are things at with the Paradise Sewer?

Great question! The Paradise Sewer project has a several-year timeline towards completion if approved, and there are many steps along the way. Since we last shared an update in November 2021, there are some new changes to share.

Long Term Community Recovery Plan Community Meetings

Mark your calendars: Next week, there will be two meetings to gather community input on the update to the Long Term Community Recovery Plan:

  • Wednesday, April 27 — Virtual Community Meeting
    • Questions about rebuilding progress and future priorities? In this meeting, we’ll discuss survey results and the recovery focus moving forward. Please participate — we need to hear from you!

  • Thursday, April 28 — In-Person Open House
    • The Town of Paradise will be hosting an in-person open house meeting at the Paradise Alliance Church gymnasium. Come prepared to indicate your preference for new recovery projects (taken from survey results) and add your ideas to the mix! 
    • 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

In-Person Community Information Meeting, May 3

Questions about rebuilding? Wondering where to find house plans, insurance, or grants? The Town of Paradise will be hosting a Housing Expo at our next Community Information on May 3rd from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Paradise Alliance Church. Come prepared with your questions and to hear helpful information from a variety of building and housing experts. Following the presentation, there will be booths with housing resources, contractors, and other building information.
