Memorial Day Remembrance, May 30

You’re invited to a Memorial Day Remembrance event at the Paradise Veterans Memorial Hall on May 30th. The event will start at 11:30 a.m. There will be patriotic songs and speeches by Paradise Mayor Steve Crowder and Butte County Supervisor Doug Teeter followed by our own Paradise Honor Guard raising our country’s flag to full staff as our National Anthem is sung. This will be followed by a 3 Volley Salute to the dead and TAPS.

Update on the Long Term Recovery Plan

The vision and idea boards from last week’s in-person meeting are set up at Town Hall. Anyone who missed the meeting last week can come give their input until next Thursday, May 12th! Stop by Town Hall at 5555 Skyway from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Bike Trail Lights Are Back!

All of the lights along the Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trailway have been fully restored. This is a significant milestone in the recovery of the Town and the ongoing safety of walkers, joggers, and bikers who enjoy this trail.
