Free Residential Green Waste Disposal, July  17 & 27 & August 1,7, 20, 26, & 31

Butte County residents living in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) may dispose of green waste for free on the above designated days. Don’t let the construction downtown stop you from visiting your favorite Paradise businesses. You can help Paradise recover by continuing to shop local while the heavy lifting of recovery is still underway. The businesses remaining open during construction in the downtown area include: Nic’s, Birkenstock, One Source Builders, 3 Seas Boutique, American Real Estate, Lyons Express Lube & Oil, Newton Bracewell, Paradise Art Center, Butte Fire Safe Council, The Nail Studio, and Yowzers Printing. Pentz Road Repair Work

Starting July 11, 2022 through mid-September 2022, construction crews will begin work on Pentz Road from Hwy 70 to the Paradise Town limits to repair damages resulting from cleanup and recovery efforts from the Camp Fire. Construction work will consist of clearing and grubbing, cold planning existing asphalt pavement, paving, shoulder backing, culvert repair, thermoplastic striping and markings, and retroreflective pavement markers. Construction operations will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Traffic control measures will be in place, and motorists can expect delays of up to 20 minutes.  Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes such as Neal Road or Clark Road (Hwy 191), and are urged to use caution in work zones.

The Town has created a google map with ongoing traffic control in Paradise which will be updated each week. The map will also be available on the Town of Paradise website, www.townofparadise.com. Information shown on this map is subject to change and may not be all inclusive of actual work on a given day.

Road Repave Map

As areas of Town are completing underground work, the Town of Paradise is set to begin a Town-wide repaving project for all publicly owned and maintained roads. 

This map is also available on the Town website, along with an alphabetical list of roads and the anticipated year for paving. The map and list will be updated as the best information becomes available. Click here or on the image below to view the map.
