WHAT’S NEW

Dixie Fire Update

There are still no evacuation orders or evacuation warnings for the Town of Paradise.  The Town continues to monitor the Dixie Fire closely with Cal Fire and Butte County. However, it is important to be prepared and have a plan for your family, animals, and home. If you feel unsafe at any time, you should leave. Visit the CalFire/Butte County Facebook page and Butte County Sheriff Facebook page for current updates.

UPDATED Time: Design Standards Public Workshop, Thursday, July 22nd, 6pm

Design Standards for Skyway and Clark Road in Paradise are being analyzed through the Transportation Master Plan that is currently underway. The 3rd of 4 planned public workshops scheduled for July 22nd will focus on potential updates to the existing design standards on those roadways.

The meeting will be hosted virtually and will be recorded for posting on the Town website. Optional in-person attendance will also be hosted at Town Hall (5555 Skyway). To join the virtual workshop, visit bit.ly/2UqcjvX.

Looped by Theater on the Ridge, Thursday, July 22 – Sunday, July 25, 7:30 pm

Based on a real event, Looped takes place in the summer of 1965, when Tallulah Bankhead needed eight hours to redub – or loop – one line of dialogue for her last movie, Fanatic. Playwright Matthew Lombardo’s riveting play is as funny as it gets in theatre! His script features a cascade of Tallulah Bankhead’s famous zingers. Best for mature audiences.
