Sewer Update: Draft Program Environmental Impact Report 

The Town of Paradise (Town) announces the availability of a Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (Draft PEIR) for the Paradise Sewer Project (Proposed Project) prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The Draft PEIR describes the Proposed Project and evaluates the potential environmental impacts associated with its implementation. The Draft PEIR analyzes three alternatives.

Any responsible and trustee agencies, involved federal agencies, interest groups, and members of the public are invited to provide input on the Draft PEIR. All input received will be documented and addressed in the Final PEIR, anticipated to be completed this fall.

A few exciting updates for the Rebuild Paradise Foundation 

  • They were just awarded $500,000 from North Valley Community Foundation to continue their Missing Middle Grant Program!
  • Updated and generous income guidelines for both their Missing Middle and Septic Grants. If you have rebuilt or are rebuilding, you probably qualify!
  • 12 Master Floor plans to utilize to save time and money
  • New Septic Mapping tool on their website to help know septic capacities and location of the septic tank on your property

CAL FIRE/Paradise Fire advises NOT mowing your lawns after 10:00 a.m. 

During these very dry months sparks from equipment and combustible vegetation can cause fires. If you need to use power equipment to maintain your yard, please do so in the cool morning hours.Thank you for helping protect our Town.

New! Paradise Tree Removal Program 

Applications are now open for Paradise property owners to enroll for assistance removing dead trees on private property. Applications are available on the Town’s website or in person at Paradise Town Hall at 5555 Skyway or the Building Resiliency Center at 6295 Skyway.

KMQ Builders Ribbon Cutting, August 18

Welcome KMQ Builders to the community by attending the ribbon cutting on Thursday, August 18 at 5:30 p.m. The ribbon cutting will be held at the newly constructed Paradise home at 132 Feather Rock Ct., Paradise. Find out more about KMQ Builders on their website.

Music Under the Stars, August 21

Support the Paradise Symphony Orchestra by coming to the “Music Under the Stars” fundraiser. Tickets costs $50 each and they can be bought at www.paradisesymphony.org or at the door. The price includes dinner, music, a silent auction, and a live auction. The auction includes over 50 prize items from your favorite shops and restaurants. This event is taking place at the Veterans Memorial Hall located at 6550 Skyway, Paradise. For more information contact Melissa Brown at 530-370-7478.

Free Residential Green Waste Disposal & August 20, 26, & 31

Butte County residents living in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) may dispose of green waste for free on the above designated days.
