Town of Paradise wins prestigious Helen Putnam Award for Excellence in Planning and Environmental Quality
The Town of Paradise was recently awarded the esteemed 2022 Helen Putnam Award for Excellence in Planning and Environmental Quality from The League of California Cities.
This award was given for work on the Long Term Community Recovery Plan, a community-created plan developed by residents of the Ridge to guide Paradise through the next several years of regrowth.

Temporary Speed Limit Reduction on Skyway, Sept-Oct 2022
On Tuesday, September 13, temporary speed limits along Skyway between Neal Road and Lucky John Road took effect. The speed limit was reduced to 25 MPH to slow traffic during the heavy road construction of the Skyway Paving Project. The final roadway paving is scheduled to be complete in October 2022.
Hoedown at Veteran’s Hall, September 30

Johnny Appleseed Days 2022, October 1 & 2
Come celebrate community and heritage at Paradise’s annual Johnny Appleseed Days. This fun-for-the-family event will include handicrafts made by artisans from all over the state, face painting, games, a visit from Johnny Appleseed, and so much more! Paradise Performing Arts Center Ribbon Cutting, October 6
You are invited to celebrate the newly renovated Paradise Performing Arts Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and live music. Join the celebration on Thursday, October 6 from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Paradise Performing Arts Center, located at 777 Nunneley Road, Paradise.
