Early Warning Siren Test February 3, 2024, at 12:00pm (NOON)

The Town of Paradise will conduct the monthly Early Warning Sirens Test on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 12:00pm (NOON). The original HIGH-LOW tone and the AIR RAID SIREN SOUND will be played.

Construction is moving forward with Rocky Lane.

Bennett and S. Libby EWS Tower will not be tested and is currently being repaired.

Doom the Broom at Paradise Lake

Join the Butte County Fire Safe Council and the Paradise Recreation and Park District at Paradise Lake Boat Launch #1, for removing invasive Scotch Broom and other invasive species to help native plants grow. Come dressed in long sleeves, pants and closed-toe shoes on Saturday, February 3 from 1-4:00 pm. Tools, gloves and snacks will be provided if needed. Register to volunteer for the event here.

Working Together to Help Paradise Residents

The Town of Paradise is committed to helping residents displaced by the Camp Fire to rebuild, recover, and reestablish their lives.  In a team effort, Town Code Enforcement, Fire Inspectors, Housing Department, and North Valley Catholic Social Services (Disaster Case Managers and Construction Cost Analyst) work with Paradise families to find solutions. With many impacted residents not sure where to start, our team steps in to find the resources and help they need.

Paradise Chamber of Commerce New Website

The Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce kicked off a new multi-phase initiative to attract residents and businesses to the area, beginning with the launch of a new website, They are particularly looking for feedback, photos, and personal insights to paint a true picture of life in today’s Paradise and Magalia. A Call to Action to spread the message by sharing with social networks and potential residents would also be helpful. Contact to send photos, personal insights, and for more information.

Town Council Meeting

Paradise Alliance Church Fuels Reduction Assistance Program

Prepare for the upcoming winter weather by taking advantage of the Fuels Reduction Assistance Program (FRAP) which offers free assistance for enhancing your defensible space, removing hazard trees, and managing weed abatement. FRAP works to eliminate weeds around homes and properties and address the removal of trees that pose a threat to standing structures. Proudly brought to you by the Paradise Alliance Church, this program operates in collaboration with CAL FIRE and California Climate Investments.
