As the 5 Year Camp Fire Commemorative Events conclude, the Town of Paradise would like to say THANK YOU to our dedicated sponsors and supporters for making the events possible. Your generosity played a pivotal role in the success of these events. Over the past five years since the Camp Fire tragedy, we’ve faced challenges, overcome adversity, and built a stronger, more connected community. We look forward to continuing to work together in building a resilient, thriving, supportive, and uplifting community.

3,027 Building Permit Applications Received

2,816 Building Permits Issued

2,154 Homes Rebuilt (certificate of occupancy issued)

Multi-Family Homes in Development:

777  Multi-Family Units Applied

591  Multi-Family Units Issued

434 Multi-Family Units Rebuilt (certificate of occupancy issued)

*Each “unit” represents a home for a family in Paradise.

Holiday Craft Fair

The Paradise Elks Lodge would like to invite the public to support local vendors and start your holiday shopping Saturday, November 18th from 9:00am- 4:00pm at 1100 Elk Lane.

Classic Car and Motorcycle Show

Sponsored by Subaru, visit Terry Ashe Center Saturday November 18th from 10:00am-6:00pm for a day of Classics and Cycles! Enjoy live music and a craft beer garden, while judges will make their rounds to find the cleanest car, and best bike! Bring the kids because the Ice Rink is free that day!

Pinewood Derby

Children from preschool- sixth grade are invited to build and race their own Pinewood Derby Car on Saturday November 18th at Terry Ashe Center. Call PRPD to register and to find out more information at 530-872-6393.

Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Join the Paradise First Christian Church at 5738 Pentz Road for a free Thanksgiving Dinner Sunday, November 19th from 1-3:00pm.

CodeRed- Sign Up/Manage/ Modify/ Unsubscribe

CodeRed is a community notification system in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts. Examples include evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices, and missing child reports.

COMMERCIAL SIGN REMOVAL PROGRAM 

Funding is still available for the Commercial Sign Removal Program. This program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. Grants will be awarded on a first come first serve basis, until all allocated funds have been expended. Turn in your application to Town Hall or jblancett@townofparadise.com and after an application is approved, the Town will work with the business and licensed contractor to have the sign removed and will pay the contractor directly for the service. For more information and an application, visit bit.ly/3IW9aee
