Paradise on Ice and Winter Wonderland Return for 9th Season

The Paradise Ice Rink is back for another season of wintry fun! Open from November 11-January 2, the ice rink holds court at the Terry Ashe Recreation Center and is open daily (with possible exceptions on rainy days). All ages are welcome to skate and enjoy, with skate rental, season passes, and lessons available for visitors. 

In conjunction with the Paradise Ice Rink, the Winter Wonderland brings a whole host of family and community events to enjoy this season.

Paradise on Ice Returns, November 11 – January 2

Paradise on Ice returns on November 11! Come out for a fun day of ice skating with your family and friends. Paradise on Ice offers public skate, adult skate, lessons, private rentals, and party rooms! The ice rink is located at the Terry Ashe Recreation Center in Paradise. For more information, visit

2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off & Cornhole Tournament, November 19

Join the fun at the 2nd annual Chili Cook-off and Cornhole Tournate on Saturday, November 19! The chili cook-off is from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., the cornhole tournament is from 12 p.m.-6 p.m., and the beer garden is open from 12 p.m.-6 p.m. at Terry Ashe Recreation Center. Visit for more information.

Community Tree Planting, November 20

Sign up to help plant trees on the Ridge! The sign-ups are full for November 19, but there are still spots for Sunday, November 20. The planting will be taking place on the corner of Pentz Rd. and Merrill Rd. Visit for more information and sign-ups.
