December Top POP
The last ToP POP event of the year is here! We’re sending 2023 off in style with half-price ice skating at the Paradise Ice Rink: just $7 admission! But that’s not all: between 6-10 p.m., the Paradise Recreation and Park District is hosting a “New Year-ish Party!” In addition to ice skating, they’ll have a DJ, food for purchase, children’s activities, a ball drop, and more. Fun for the whole family!
Saturday, December 30 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.; New Year-ish party begins at 6 p.m. at Terry Ashe Recreation Center at 6626 Skyway.

Drive Through Christmas Light Show at the Paradise Alliance Church
Friday-Sunday nights look brighter at the CMA Church! From December 1st until December 23rd (weekends only) drive through the annual Christmas Lights Show from 6-8:00pm at 6491 Clark Road, free of charge.
Tis the Season Community Food Drive
Support Paradise Tri Counties Bank and the Salvation Army in achieving their 2023 goal of 50,000 pounds of donated food. Visit Tri Counties Bank at 6848 Skyway, to contribute any canned or non-perishable food until December 22nd.
Paradise Alliance Church Fuels Reduction Assistance Program
Prepare for the upcoming winter weather by taking advantage of the Fuels Reduction Assistance Program (FRAP), which offers free assistance for enhancing your defensible space, removing hazard trees, and managing weed abatement. FRAP works to eliminate weeds around homes and properties and address the removal of trees that pose a threat to standing structures. Proudly brought to you by the Paradise Alliance Church, this program operates in collaboration with Cal Fire and California Climate Investments.

CodeRed is a community notification system in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts. Examples include evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices, and missing child reports.

COMMERCIAL SIGN REMOVAL PROGRAM
Funding is still available for the Commercial Sign Removal Program. This program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. Grants will be awarded on a first come first serve basis, until all allocated funds have been expended. Turn in your application to Town Hall or jblancett@townofparadise.com and after an application is approved, the Town will work with the business and licensed contractor to have the sign removed and will pay the contractor directly for the service.
