We’re proud of our achievements in the past five years and grateful to all of you for being part of it. Here’s to the future of Paradise!

December Top POP

The last ToP POP event of the year is here! We’re sending 2023 off in style with half-price ice skating at the Paradise Ice Rink: just $7 admission! But that’s not all! Between 6-10 p.m., the Paradise Recreation and Park District is hosting a “New Year-ish Party!” In addition to ice skating, they’ll have a DJ, food for purchase, children’s activities, a ball drop, and more. Fun for the whole family!

Saturday, December 30th from 12:00pm to 10:00pm; New Year-ish party begins at 6:00 p.m. at Terry Ashe Recreation Center at 6626 Skyway.

The Town of Paradise would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Town Hall and the Building Resiliency Center will be closed Monday December 25th and Tuesday December 26th. Town Hall and the BRC will reopen Wednesday December 27th at 8:00am and resume regular business hours the remainder of the week.

Pictures with The Grinch at Lofi Café

Stop by Lofi Café at 5913 Clark Road Suite E, Thursday, December 21st from 3:00-5:00pm for pictures with The Grinch. There will also be food and drink specials available for purchase.

Paradise Little League-DFT Cornhole & Ugly Sweater Tournament

Join Paradise Little League, and DFT Cornhole for a fundraising event at the Paradise Elk’s Lodge, 1100 Elk Lane, December 21st. Doors open at 5:30pm and the fun kicks off at 6:30. $20 entry fee per cornhole player and tons of prizes, 50/50 raffle and food will be available. Don’t forget to wear your ugly sweater for the contest!

Christmas Jug Band at the PPAC

Get into the holiday spirit at the Paradise Performing Arts Center from 7:00-9:00pm on December 22nd to enjoy the legendary Christmas Jug Band. Purchase your tickets at paradiseperformingarts.com.

Santa & The Grinch at Grocery Outlet

Stop by Grocery Outlet at 6800 Skyway, Saturday, December 23rd from noon-3:00pm to see Santa and The Grinch!

Drive Through Christmas Light Show at the Paradise Alliance Church

Last weekend the Christmas Light Show will be at the CMA Church! From December 22nd and December 23rd drive through the annual light show from 6-8:00pm at 6491 Clark Road, free of charge.

Tis the Season Community Food Drive

Support Paradise Tri Counties Bank and the Salvation Army in achieving their 2023 goal of 50,000 pounds of donated food. Visit Tri Counties Bank at 6848 Skyway, to contribute any canned or non-perishable food until December 22nd.

Paradise Alliance Church Fuels Reduction Assistance Program

Prepare for the upcoming winter weather by taking advantage of the Fuels Reduction Assistance Program (FRAP), which offers free assistance for enhancing your defensible space, removing hazard trees, and managing weed abatement. FRAP works to eliminate weeds around homes and properties and address the removal of trees that pose a threat to standing structures. Proudly brought to you by the Paradise Alliance Church, this program operates in collaboration with Cal Fire and California Climate Investments.

CodeRed- Sign Up/Manage/ Modify/ Unsubscribe

CodeRed is a community notification system in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts. Examples include evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices, and missing child reports.

To sign up, manage an existing account, modify your notification settings and contact information, or to unsubscribe, please visit CodeRed. You may also further customize the types of notifications you receive and add any additional address.

COMMERCIAL SIGN REMOVAL PROGRAM 

Funding is still available for the Commercial Sign Removal Program. This program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. Grants will be awarded on a first come first serve basis, until all allocated funds have been expended. Turn in your application to Town Hall or jblancett@townofparadise.com and after an application is approved, the Town will work with the business and licensed contractor to have the sign removed and will pay the contractor directly for the service. For more information and an application, visit bit.ly/3IW9aee
