Gold Nugget Days

Come together with community organizations for a family-filled weekend celebrating Gold Nugget Days! Events run from Thursday, April 25th, through Sunday, April 28th. For more details on all the happenings, visit

Gold Nugget Days Rotary Bean Feed

All-you-can-eat bean feed at the Paradise Methodist Church, 6722 Clark Rd, on Thursday, April 25th from 4:00-6:30pm. Purchase your tickets at the door, children under 10 are free and dessert is an additional $3.00.

Gold Nugget Days Queen Contest and Revue

On Thursday, April 25th at the Paradise Performing Arts Center, 777 Nunneley Rd from 7:00- 9:00pm, find out who the Gold Nugget Queen is.

Gold Nugget Days Hoedown

Don’t miss the Gold Nugget Days Hoedown at the Elks Lodge, 1100 Elk Lane! Dinner is from 4:00-6:0pm, followed by music by Harlon and dancing until 10:00pm. Get your tickets for dinner or dancing now.

Biscuits & Gravy with the Paradise Eagles

Join the Paradise Eagles at the Lodge at 9079 Skyway on Saturday morning from 6:00am- 11:00am for biscuits and gravy. Breakfast is only $5.00 and open to the public.

Gold Nugget Days Parade

Skyway will close at 11:00am, so arrive early and park outside of the Paradise Shopping Center staging area. The Paradise will start at 12:00pm and last an hour going the traditional route.

Gem and Mineral Show

Don’t miss the Paradise Gem and Mineral Club’s 68th Annual Gem and Mineral Show at the Gold Nugget Museum, 475 Pearson Road! Join them on Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, from 9:00am to 5:00pm for a weekend of prizes, auctions, raffles, kids’ activities, food, demos, geode cracking, and shopping. It’s our biggest show yet! Spread the word and invite friends. Limited vendor spots are available, email to secure yours.

Big Mo and The Full Moon Band

Celebrate the Gold Nugget Days with a night of Blues with Big Mo and the Full Moon Band on April 27th from 7:00-9:00pm at the Paradise Performing Arts Center. Click here for tickets.

Gold Nugget Days Horse Festival

Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 28th from 11:00am- 4:00pm for the Horse Festival at the Paradise Horse Area off Moore Road. This event is family-friendly and will have great food, lots of booths, games, and raffles.

Paradise Elks Hamburger Night

Enjoy Hamburger Night every 1st and 3rd Wednesday evening at the Elks Lodge, 1100 Elk Lane. Indulge in a variety of hamburgers with your choice of French fries or onion rings. Members and their guests are invited from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.

Burn Permits

Burn permits are required for any burning within the Town of Paradise. Burn permits can be purchased online at, at the Building Resiliency Center, located at 6295 Skyway, or Station 81 located at 767 Birch Street.

Before burning you are required to confirm burn day status with Butte County Air Quality Management District by calling (530) 332-9407 or Toll Free (855) 332-9407.
