Early Warning System Test

On Saturday, May 4th at NOON the EWS will be tested. Please be aware that during the test certain towers may not be activated.

Residents should expect to hear a voice command stating:
• “This is a test of the Paradise Early Warning Sirens.”

• Followed by a 45-second AIR RAID SOUND

• “This is a test of the Paradise Early Warning Sirens.”

Once the last voice command is played that will conclude that month’s test of the EWS system. For more information visit

Individual EWS Tower Testing May 2, May 3, May 6, May 7

As the Town enters the final testing and configuration of the EWS system, there will be additional testing of individual EWS towers.

Mark your calendars:

  • Thursday, May 2
  • Friday, May 3
  • Monday, May 6
  • Tuesday, May 7

From: 9:00am – 4:00pm.

Residents may hear testing of individual towers during the additional testing days, each audible test conducted will include the message “This is a test of the Paradise Early Warning Sirens”. Habitat for Humanity of Butte County- Women Build 2024

No experience necessary! This is a great opportunity for women to come together to build a home, work with contractors, and raise money for a great cause on May 3rd and 4th from 8:30 am- 3:00 pm at 832 Central Park Drive. At registration, you will have the option to pay in full or pay $10.00 to save your sport then take advantage of the fundraiser tool to raise the remaining balance.

Coffee & Donut Veteran Outreach

Alice in Wonderland

Paradise Symphony Orchestra Presents- For the Kids in All of Us

Experience an extraordinary concert on May 5th, celebrating both the youthful spirit and the young at heart. Join the Paradise Symphony Orchestra as they highlight the remarkable talents of the winners of the Arlene Harms Young Artist Competition! Mark your calendars for Sunday, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, at the Paradise Performing Arts Center, located at 777 Nunneley Road. Purchase tickets online or at the door.

Burn Permits

Burn permits are required for any burning within the Town of Paradise. Burn permits can be purchased online at, at the Building Resiliency Center, located at 6295 Skyway, or Station 81 located at 767 Birch Street.

Before burning you are required to confirm burn day status with Butte County Air Quality Management District by calling (530) 332-9407 or Toll Free (855) 332-9407.
