Tikes Get Bikes Event, May 14
The Paradise Recreation and Park District is hosting a bike giveaway and donation event at Upper Bille Park on May 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring your toddler or small child to choose a bike or to join in on the race for a participation ribbon. There are 50 bikes that vary in size, some of which have training wheels. Visit the PRPD website for pre-registration and more information.
Women Build Fundraiser 2022, May 14-15
Are you a woman who is interested in serving your community and learning a new skill? Join the Habitat for Humanity fundraiser and volunteer on their job site alongside building professionals. This is event is for women, ages 16 and up, with no experience necessary. Northern California Ballet Spring Performance, May 21
Bring the family to see the magnificent Northern California Ballet Spring Performance of Dracula. Taking place on Friday, May 20 at 7:15 p.m. and Saturday, May 21 at 2:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. at the Paradise Performing Arts Center. Paradise Symphony Orchestra Performance, May 29
Enjoy a live concert titled “Sweet Endings” by the Paradise Symphony Orchestra. This summer concert is on May 29 at 6 p.m. located at the Paradise Performing Arts Center. Memorial Day Remembrance, May 30
You’re invited to a Memorial Day Remembrance event at the Paradise Veterans Memorial Hall on May 30th. The event will start at 11:30 a.m. There will be patriotic songs and speeches by Paradise Mayor Steve Crowder and Butte County Supervisor Doug Teeter followed by our own Paradise Honor Guard raising our country’s flag to full staff as our National Anthem is sung. This will be followed by a 3 Volley Salute to the dead and TAPS.

Update on the Long Term Recovery Plan
The vision and idea boards from last week’s in-person meeting are set up at Town Hall. Anyone who missed the meeting last week can come give their input until next Thursday, May 12th! Stop by Town Hall at 5555 Skyway from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
Bike Trail Lights Are Back!
All of the lights along the Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trailway have been fully restored. This is a significant milestone in the recovery of the Town and the ongoing safety of walkers, joggers, and bikers who enjoy this trail.
