Town of Paradise Weekly Update 9-18-2024

The Town of Paradise is making a “last call” to homeowners seeking assistance to rebuild their home lost in the Camp Fire through the Town of Paradise’s Owner-Occupied Reconstruction Program. To ensure the continued success of the program, the state has approved an increase in the maximum loan amount to $250,000 for homes that require reconstruction.
Town of Paradise Housing staff will accept applications through the end of the year, as long as funds are available, and will assist households throughout the entire rebuilding process- from the initial application to the final inspection.

For more detailed information and current income limits, please visit the Town’s website at www.townofparadise.com/housing, contact Housing Services by phone at (530) 872-6291 ext. 122, or email housing@townofparadise.com.

Congratulations to our residents, as well as our Code Enforcement and Fire Prevention Inspectors for achieving an incredible milestone—90% of properties are in compliance with defensible space requirements in the Town of Paradise! Your hard work and commitment to keeping our community safe are making a real difference in reducing wildfire risk. Thank you for your tireless efforts in protecting our town and helping us build a more resilient future. Keep up the great work! Visit the Weed Abatement Map to see if your lot is compliant.
