September ToP POP Event

Brush up on your survival skills with local BSA Scout Troops 316 and 12G during September’s ToP POP event: Survival Skills Workshop. You’ll get to learn about first aid, backpacking, and camping basics. Plus, you’ll be supplied items to make your very own “Ten Essentials” survival kit, free of charge! All ages welcome and food and drinks will be available for purchase. All proceeds go to local Scout troops. This event is Saturday, September 30 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the Terry Ashe Recreation Center at 6626 Skyway.

Town of Paradise Conducting Census Survey to Ensure Future Grant Eligibility
A random sample of Paradise families have been mailed a census survey of 10 simple questions, per Department of Housing & urban Development (HUD) survey rules. The Town of Paradise is committed to using grant funding to support projects that benefit the entire community, such as improving roads, sidewalks, and essential public services.
Survey deadline: If you received this survey, please complete and return the survey through the directions in the mailing no later than November 1, 2023. Your response is confidential, and no personal information will be shared. The information collected from this survey will be used exclusively to update the Paradise Census information. PATCHworks Presents Dana Cooper in Concert

Performing at Theatre on the Ridge at 3735 Neal Rd, Wednesday September 20th is Dana Cooper, acclaimed singer/songwriter, poet, storyteller, and world-renowned musician. Come out and enjoy the show. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the show begins at 7:00pm. Tickets are available at the door or online.

Groundbreaking Mobile Home Construction 1st Home Built

Valley Contractors Mobile Construction Training and Camp Fire Collaborative are excited to break ground on the first home built since VCWF was founded. Come join the celebration at 766 East Oak St. from 4:00pm-6:00pm on September 21st.

PHS Home Football Game

Friday September 22nd kicking off at 5:30pm is the JV team followed by the Varsity team at 7:30pm located at Om Wraith Field, 5911 Maxwell Drive. Wear your Bobcat colors and cheer them on! Admission is $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults.

3rd Annual Mandatory Fun Car and Motorcycle Show

The Paradise Veterans Hall is proud to host this great show with prizes and food on September 23rd. Pancake Breakfast starts at 8:00am followed by the Chili Cook Off and awards from 12:00pm-4:00pm at 6550 Skyway.

The Sun Kings at PPAC

The Good Works Kitchen is proud to present the ultimate tribute to The Beatles on September 23rd. World-renowned Sun Kings, with their genuine voices, will transport you to Liverpool with this experience that will certainly have you singing along from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Visit for tickets.

CodeRed is a community notification system in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts. Examples include evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices, and missing child reports.

Commercial Sign Removal Program 

Funding is still available for the Commercial Sign Removal Program. This program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. Grants will be awarded on a first come first serve basis, until all allocated funds have been expended. Turn in your application to Town Hall or and after an application is approved, the Town will work with the business and licensed contractor to have the sign removed and will pay the contractor directly for the service. For more information and an application, visit
